Our Vision
Our Vision Statement for the "HEARING VOICES NETWORK AOTEAROA NZ" is as follows
People who hear voices are accepted, valued and treated with equal dignity as
contributing members of the community
To follow is a chart to show how we are working towards this at present:
Marius Romme and Sandra Eschers Research shows that at least 70% of people who hear voices have had some traumatic experience which they connect with hearing voices. ( More recent research has estimated that this figure is much higher - 90%)
